Dr. Andrew Dalovisio is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated from Jesuit High School and went on to attend college in Virginia. Dr. Dalovisio received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed an internal medicine residency followed by a hematology/oncology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Dalovisio is a member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society Transplantation and Cellular Therapy, and American Society of Clinical Oncology. His professional interests include hematologic malignancies and stem cell transplant. He serves as interim head for the section of hematology and stem cell transplant, and the co-director of the adolescent and young adult oncology program.
