Andrew Adams, M.D., is board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine, practicing in Hancock County, Mississippi, at Family Medicine-Bay St. Louis and Family Medicine-Diamondhead.
Services include comprehensive family medicine for patients of all ages. This includes acute, chronic and preventive medical care services. In addition to diagnosing and treating illness, Dr. Adams also provides preventive care, including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests, sports medicine and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. He is on the sidelines as team doctor to the St. Stanislaus High School football team in Bay St. Louis. The staff also helps patients manage chronic illness, coordinating with medical specialists when needed.
A graduate of the University of Mississippi, School of Medicine in Jackson, Dr. Adams earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Millsaps College. He grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and is a graduate of St. John High School in Gulfport. His father, Hans Adams, M.D., is also a local Gulf Coast physician, specializing in gastroenterology.
