Dr. Gupta received her medical degree from Government Medical College in Patiala, Punjab (India) and completed her internship and residency at Louisiana Health Sciences Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA, where she also completed her fellowship in hematology and medical oncology. Dr. Ankita Gupta is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been on staff at Ochsner since August 2020. Dr. Gupta specializes in hematology and oncology. She values each of her patient and their families' goals and expectations, and believes in personalizing management based on each individual's disease, latest scientific data and their preferences.
