Dr. Benjamin Romick earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine located in Iowa City, IA. He then completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Kessler USAF Medical Center at Kessler AFB, MS. Dr. Romick went on to complete a Cardiovascular Fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center/Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. He also completed an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Montefiore Einstein Heart Center located in the Bronx, NY. Prior to joining the Ochsner team, Dr. Romick served 15 years on active duty in the USAF. His special areas of interest include transradial cardiac catheterization, complex coronary intervention, chronic total occlusion intervention, and cardiac rhythm device implantation and management.
