Dr. Brian Porche grew up in Jefferson Parish, attended Jesuit High School, and graduated in 1995. He graduated from Auburn University in 1999 and received his medical degree from LSU -Shreveport in 2004. Dr. Porche completed his emergency medicine residency at LSU - Charity Hospital and LSU - University Hospital in 2008. During his residency, he served as chief resident, and helped to rebuild the emergency medicine program during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He received Ochsner's Emergency Medicine Resident of the Year award during his final year of residency.

Dr. Porche is a board-certified emergency medicine physician and worked in the emergency room at Ochsner Clinic Foundation for four years from 2008-2012. In October 2012, he assumed the role of medical director/physician owner of MHM Urgent Care-Metairie. Currently, Dr. Porche is practicing in the occupational health arena, as well as the urgent care system across the greater New Orleans area. Dr. Porche is the proud father of daughters Raegan, Makinley and Kennedy.
