Dr. Dudoussat completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nicholls State University in 1995. He then received his Doctor of Medicine in 2004 from Louisiana State University School of Medicine and was a member of the AOA Medical Honor Society. He also received the Norma C. Ragland Award for outstanding academic achievement over four years of medical school. Dr Dudoussat then completed a residency in Orthopedic surgery at LSU Health Sciences center in 2009. He continued training at Wake Forests’ Bauman Grey School of Medicine where he completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery in 2010.

After training Dr. Dudoussat returned to Louisiana where he practiced orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgery at North Oaks Medical Center. He comes to Ochsner with 9 years of clinical experience in hand and upper extremity surgery.

Dr. Dudoussat’s Orthopedic Surgical interests are hand, wrist, and elbow surgery including fractures, arthritis, tendon injury, nerve releases and repair, and pediatric hand care.
