Dr. Chris Collins received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Spanish from Mississippi College and his Doctorate of Medicine from Ross University. Following this, he completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in neurology at the University of Tennessee where he also served as chief resident. He completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology-epilepsy at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Collins later completed a fellowship in Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis at Ochsner Health System. He has been on staff at Ochsner since September 2018. His expertise is in autoimmune neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and epilepsy. Dr. Collins is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). He also has board certifications in both Critical Care EEG Monitoring and Epilepsy Monitoring by the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology (ABCN). He has also obtained Certification in Rare Neuroimmunological Disorders (CRND) and is also a Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist (MSCS) by the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers.
