Christopher Sugalski, MD, specializes in orthopedic surgery at Ochsner Health. Dr. Christopher Sugalski joined the Ochsner Clinic in 2019. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery. Originally from Ohio, Dr. Sugalski came to New Orleans as an undergraduate student where he graduated cum laude from Tulane University. After graduating from medical school at Tulane, he became an active-duty member of the United States Army for five years. He served as a flight surgeon for the 1st Infantry Division in Fort Riley, Kansas, and he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. Dr. Sugalski returned to Ohio for orthopedic residency training at Ohio State University, where he received the Outstanding Resident Teacher Award during his chief resident year. Following his residency, Dr. Sugalski completed additional training in orthopedic trauma at the University of Florida. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Medical Association and the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association.
