Dr. Gregory Gaspard is a native of Texas and completed his undergraduate education at LSU in Baton Rouge. He returned to Texas for medical school at the University of Texas - Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and then completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where he spent a year as the chief medical resident. He then went to Durham, NC for his fellowship in gastroenterology at Duke University.

Dr. Gaspard is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He practiced at Ochsner in Baton Rouge from 2011 until 2017 and rejoined Ochsner at the Jefferson Highway location in 2020. Dr. Gaspard's expertise is in inflammatory bowel disease and he works in the IBD Center at Ochsner's main campus. In his spare time he enjoys cooking and fishing.
