Biography
Kristin Duhon, PA-C, practices gastroenterology at Ochsner Health. Kristin is board-certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. She completed her Bachelor of Science in biological sciences at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She earned her Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Kristin was honored with the Clinical Excellence Award for her exemplary performance during her physician assistant training. Kristin specializes in gastroenterology, with a focus on conditions involving the digestive tract and related organs. She is trained in diagnosing and managing a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders including GERD, peptic ulcer disease, Barrett's esophagus, celiac disease, anemia, abdominal pain, gallbladder disease, pancreatitis, liver disease, diverticulitis, hemorrhoids, irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease. Kristin brings a patient-centered, multidisciplinary approach to gastroenterology care and will be seeing patients at our department located at Ochsner University Hospital and Clinics. She is now accepting new patients and referrals for comprehensive gastroenterology services. Additionally, Kristin is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of her patients while understanding their individual concerns and goals. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family.
