Dr. Lisa Nicoletti, APRN earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Southeastern Louisiana University and gratuated with honors from the University of South Alabama with her Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Throughout Dr. Nicoletti's career she has worked in a variety of clinical settings including administration, education, military medicine, family/internal medicine, cardiology, intensive care, and emergency medicine. She actively serves as a student preceptor for several universities and colleges. After Hurricane Katrina, Dr. Nicoletti served the New Orleans community as a volunteer member in the National Health Service AmeriCorps Medserve program providing health care and education.
Dr. Nicoletti's special interests include primary care, population/community health, health care advocacy, education, and health care technology application. She believes the delivery of individualized evidence-based patient care utilizing a collaborative team approach is essential to optimize patient health and wellness. Dr. Nicoleui is a member of the OHC Family Medicine team and is slated to see patients at the OHC - Michaud Clinic.
