Dr. Cable earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago and completed his residency training at Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. He then completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at Huntsman Cancer Center at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Dr. Cable also serves as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery and oncology at LSU Health New Orleans.
In Dr. Cable's own words, his passion for musculoskeletal oncology is enhanced by the specialized, complex nature of his field. “I have the privilege to coordinate with many specialists outside of orthopedics when caring for bone and soft tissue sarcomas, and perform many surgeries unique to the field of musculoskeletal oncology."
