Dr. Michael F. Wasserman is a pediatrician with over 26 years experience at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. A native New Orleanian, he received his degrees from Cornell and Tulane University School of Medicine and completed a pediatric residency at Vanderbilt University Hospital and Tulane Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Wasserman is board certified in Pediatrics and is a member of numerous professional societies, including the AOA Honor Medical Society. He treats children of all ages ranging from newborns to adolescents. Trained as a general pediatrician, his areas of special interest include middle ear disease, asthma and childhood obesity. Dr. Wasserman has been on WWL TVs Morning News Show for over 15 years, answering viewer questions about their children's health.
