Dr. Olle Kjellgren received his medical degree from The Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden in 1987. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center and Columbia University in New York, New York. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at The Beth Israel Medical Center and The Mount Sinai Medical School, also in New York, New York. He completed an additional fellowship in interventional cardiology at Hermann Hospital and The University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas. Dr. Olle Kjellgren is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology and internal medicine. He is also board certified in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography. Dr. Olle Kjellgren has been practicing clinical and interventional cardiovascular medicine at Ochsner Baptist in New Orleans since 1995.
