Rebecca Miller, MPH, RD

Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Spanish from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, and completed her Master of Public Health degree in Nutrition along with her Dietetic Internship at Tulane University.

She started her nutrition career at Ochsner's Cardiac Rehabilitation where she provided both individual and group nutrition education and counseling to those recovering from a cardiac event, then joined the nutrition team at Ochsner’s Elmwood Fitness Center to conduct one-on-one nutrition consultations for Ochsner’s Employee Fitness Study. Rebecca currently provides nutrition consultations to clients through Ochsner Fitness Center and Ochsner's Medical Fitness Referral Program and also works with Ochsner' Eat fit Plan and Eat Fit NOLA restaurant partnership.

Rebecca and the team of registered dietitians at Ochsner Fitness Center work closely with you to help identify and narrow down your specific goals, as well as any potential barriers you might be dealing with. They will then work with you to develop a customized meal plan that fits within your unique needs and lifestyle, developing a nutrition and lifestyle plan that is intense enough to see results fast and maintain motivation, yet is realistic as a long-term lifestyle change.
