Sadie Slocum is a nurse practitioner specializing in pain medicine at Ochsner Health. She became a registered nurse in 2011 at Ochsner Medical Center - Hancock. She then completed her bachelors degree in nursing from William Carey University. Sadie also received her masters in nursing with a focus as a family nurse practitioner in 2021 from Chamberlain University. Before obtaining her graduate degree Sadie worked as an RN for over 10 years with experience in medical surgery, peri-operative and mother/baby nursing. Sadie is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.In her role, Sadie manages acute and chronic pain with interventional therapy. Sadie also coordinates with physicians and other medical specialists to provide education and interventions to assist patients in pain management.Sadie is a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and looks forward to continuing to improve the quality of healthcare in the community in which she feels so deeply rooted.
