Dr. Shah performed surgery on my husband’s hand after infection from vibrio bacteria. He did a flap and skin graft. It has healed nicely and my husband has complete usage of his hand. Other doctors have noticed his hand and have been very complimentary of the surgery. Dr. Shah, his nurses and staff were all very knowledgeable and caring. They have frequently followed up to insure his hand is doing well. We are grateful and we commend Dr. Shah, Hannah, and his nurses.

Very friendly staff

I have Dupretren's Contracture on both hands. Originally wanted NA performed to straighten the fingers out(which Dr Shah does).After meeting with him, decided to go with open surgery instead on worst finger. Dr Shah is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the pros and cons of both procedures, and didn't try to push me into choosing what he would prefer. I felt comfortable going with the more intensive procedure. Side note. his entire staff is just as professional, yet friendly and caring as well.

The staff and doctor was excellent. They were professional, polite and very attentive to my needs.

We went to see him and my husband’s hand was not a broken bone. I have no doubt, that Dr Shah, is an excellent bone doctor.

Dr. Shah performed a surgery on my wrist back in February to repair a broken scaphoid bone. I was told the bone had about a 60% chance of full recovery and that I may need another surgery. 5 months later and I have zero issues with my wrist. I am very pleased with the way my wrist has recovered. I am very thankful for the help of Dr. Shah and his staff. I highly recommend Dr. Shah for anyone in need of a wrist/hand surgery.

Take it from someone who breaks bones regularly, Dr. Shah is by far the best orthopedic surgeon in Lafayette! Dr. Shah performed wrist surgery on my left wrist, (I had broken the right wrist 4 years ago and had surgery in Houston), so I knew what I was in for! Dr. Shah’s modern, progressive treatment was absolutely amazing! It was nothing like what I had gone through a few years ago! I didn’t have to wear a hard cast at all, I was in physical therapy weeks after the operation and now 10 weeks out, I’ve been released to play tennis again! Dr.Shah is truly a gifted surgeon with a modern approach! I wholeheartedly recommend him for all your orthopedic needs!

Dr. Shah performed my wrist operation in February of 2023. I had little to no pain. My recovery and rehab has been easier than expected. Dr. Shah made sure if I needed anything at anytime for me to call him. He and his staff has been very friendly, professional and breathe of fresh air to work with. I had a really painful ganglion cyst in my wrist and now i am pain free!!! Not only am I a hypochondriac but also someone who is very afraid of any type of surgery or procedure. I can not express enough how great Dr. Shah is. He diagnosed me super thoroughly and got me scheduled for my procedure super efficiently.
