Dr. Seals is an awesome Dr., and Ochsner has a great set up online and at their campus on Jefferson Hwy. I love not having to keep refilling out the same paperwork over and over for each new doctor you see...once and done with Ochsner, it's awesome to me. And they have covered parking there too. Or if you need, at least some doctors offer virtual visits if you can't come in, that said, I'm sure there are times when you may have to be seen physically, just in case. I'm guessing it's a case by case scenario. But having that option is wonderful for patients who can't make it in to see their doctor, but definitely needs to see them, and sometimes right away instead of having to go to an E. R.

Dr. Shannon Seals is the neurologist to seek out if you want a physician who will make plenty of time for you, listen, consider all possibilities Then have the brilliance and perceptivity to not only nail your diagnosis but to treat you with meds that really do heal, along with adjunct therapies. She is a wonderful warm human and a rare gem in the medical field.

I absolutely love my MS Specialist. The MS team at Ochsner are the first set of doctors that I ever came across that actually understand and listen to me. The whole team is amazing but Dr. Seals & her assistant Amber are literally the best and I couldn't ask for better doctors. When I tell them certain meds make me feel a certain way, they change them or we play with the dose to see if we can find something that works. When I tell them my fatigue is ridiculous and I can't get out of bed, they send in orders for bloodwork to make sure everything is ok. They understand my pain and don't look at me crazy when I can't explain what's going on because MS is crazy and I never know what my body is doing anymore. I am absolutely grateful for them!

Dr. Seals is the best doctor I have ever encountered. I look forward to my appointments. Speaking with her is like talking to an old friend, if your old friend was also extremely knowledgeable and experienced with treating MS. If you can, you should schedule an appointment ASAP. You will not regret that decision.

I bring my brother to see Dr. Seals and she is absolutely amazing. She explains things so they are understood and makes sure she covers all test results as well as make sure a follow up plan is in place before leaving. I couldn’t have asked for a better Dr. for his care.

Dr. Seals is hands down the best doctor I've even had. Attentive, caring, and she takes her time to get to the root of a problem. I wish every doctor was like her.
