Dr. Cole Claiborne is a board certified Dermatologist practicing cosmetic, medical and surgical dermatology. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine and his residency in Dermatology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine and a research fellowship in Dermatology at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans. During his research fellowship, Dr. Claiborne was a sub-investigator for 10 randomized clinical drug trials for atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, systemic lupus erythematosus and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. He continues to stay active and up to date with research to optimize patient outcomes.
He is passionate about minimally invasive facial rejuvenation and the products to do so – neuromodulators (such as Botox®, Dysport® and Xeomin®), injectable fillers (such as Juvederm® and Restylane®), chemical peels, cosmeceuticals, and lasers. He has a keen interest in pediatric dermatology and is adept at treating infants and adolescents.
Dr. Claiborne’s memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Louisiana Dermatological Society, the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatological Society.
