Ms. Yvette Peevy earned her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 1988. She completed her clinical fellowship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation and has been a practicing speech-language pathologist there since 1989. In 2006, she became a senior speech pathologist.
Ms. Peevy is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Cleft Palate Association. She serves pediatric and adult patients on an individual basis and as part of multi-disciplinary teams including the cochlear implant team, the craniofacial team, and as coordinator of the velopharyngeal inadequacy clinic.
