Liver transplant patients at Ochsner have survival rates that exceed national rates at one-month, one-year and three-year marks. In 2013, the one-year survival rate was 94.4 percent, compared to 90.6 percent nationally. The length of time patients wait for a liver transplant at Ochsner is also far below national averages. The most recent median wait time is 32 days.
