Facility Openings: Many campuses and clinics are beginning to regain power and reopen to patients. For the latest list, visit www.ochsner.org/status.
Gasoline: Ochsner is working tirelessly to provide fuel for our team members in affected areas. Visit Ochsner.org/employeegas for real-time information on where to receive gas in your region. Times may vary depending on supply. You can also download the Gas Buddy app to see which gas stations near you are open and have gas available.

Childcare for Ochsner Employees: Employees in the New Orleans area needing temporary childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years should contact Ashley Byrd with Bright Horizons at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Emergency Housing: Employees in urgent and definite need of temporary housing should talk with their leader or contact the Human Resources Service Center at 504-842-4748 (select option 5) or (toll free) 877-843-7585. You can also email email@example.com.
IS support: Visit the IS Service Hub or call the main service desk at 504-842-3610 or 318-626-4357 for Shreveport staff.
Employee Assistance Disaster Fund Application: The Ochsner family is here to support our employees who need assistance following Hurricane Ida. Please download the Employee Assistance Fund Application, complete it online and email to HRSBA@ochsner.org. The form is also available on the Human Resources Ochweb page under Forms & Documents (and then under General HR Forms).
CreditWorks: Quick relief loans to help employees. There is a $25 one-time fee for all loans, and your monthly payment is made via payroll deduction. This benefit is available to full-time employees with at least one year of service, verifiable personal information, and no open bankruptcy. For more information, visit www.creditworksonline.com and enter code OHS#1. Employees must be residents of Louisiana, Mississippi or Florida. Part-time and PRN employees, as well as executives and physicians, are not eligible.
Bright Horizon Crisis Care (Available for Ochsner, SRMC (Chabert), Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport): Crisis care has been extended until September 24. Services are available nationwide, so if full-time and regular part-time employees are working remotely and need childcare, Bright Horizons can help. You have the option to secure care from within your own personal network (a neighbor, friend, or babysitter) through Crisis Care. You will receive a reimbursement of $100 per day for each day of Crisis Care used. Bright Horizon Crisis Care is available for full-time and regular part-time employees of Ochsner, SRMC (Chabert) and Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport.
Ochsner's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides free support to employees facing challenges due to the storm and its aftermath. If you need assistance, ComPsych representatives are available by phone 24/7 by calling 877-595-5284 or by visiting www.guidanceresources.com. Cabana: This digital group support platform is designed specifically for healthcare workers' unique challenges at work or at home. Moderated by licensed professionals, group sessions take place in a peaceful and calming virtual room. Employees can participate as anonymously as they wish.
Prescriptions: "Prescription Refill Too Soon" notice removed. Employee Health Plan Members can immediately refill prescriptions until further notice using in-network pharmacies: Ochsner Pharmacy & Wellness, Walmart, Sam's Club, CVS. The Pharmacy may need the appropriate submission clarification code of 13 to override denials for refill too soon, prior authorization and step therapy. If the pharmacy that you are using is having an issue with submitting the prescription claim, please have the pharmacy call the phone number on your prescription ID card.

Ochsner Anywhere Care Extends Free Virtual Visits Through September 13: Ochsner Health is offering free virtual visits to Louisiana and Mississippi residents who have been displaced due to Hurricane Ida. Pharmacy Updates: Visit www.ochsner.org/status for updated hours and openings of retail pharmacies near you. For Ochsner Medical Center-New Orleans, the River Road and valet entrances are open. Please call 504-842-3205 when you arrive to receive your prescription.
Redeployment: Employees interested in redeploying to an area impacted by the storm should talk with their leader for guidance and opportunities.
