A Partner of Ochsner Health System
Since 2015, Ochsner Health System and Lafayette General Health (LGH) have been working together to provide residents of Acadiana comprehensive, integrated and innovative care.
Through our long-term strategic partnership with Lafayette General Health, we are reducing healthcare costs for patients while improving quality and increasing local access to care. More patients are being treated closer to home, while still having access to the nationally recognized specialists and the depth and breadth of care Ochsner is known for.
Some of the new and expanded services at Lafayette General Health hospitals that have already resulted from our partnership include:
- Pediatric subspecialties
- Diagnostic imaging and biomedical services
By sharing best practices, integrating our technology, building a cross-organizational clinical teamwork model and making joint investment in new physicians and programs, we are able to continue to expand patient services and resources in the region with a relentless focus on quality and value.
“The LGH network has grown tremendously and is very strong, but through this partnership, we are now stronger. It is a proactive step to improve quality and decrease costs, while offering access to higher acuity healthcare closer to home.”
– David Callecod, President, Lafayette General Health
