At University Pediatrics, a division of Ochsner University Hospital & Clinics, we offer the best in specialized and skilled medical care for our youngest patients — from birth until they reach adulthood. University Pediatrics offers outpatient pediatric care for patients in the greater Lafayette community. If a higher level of treatment is needed, children will have direct admission to Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center’s Pediatrics floor.
We see patients for every type of common illness, including, but not limited to the following:

- Fever
- Earaches
- Chest Congestion
- Sore Throat
Onsite, we have pediatricians and pediatric specialists, as well as radiologists and radiologic technicians who are experienced in pediatric imaging, offering conscious sedation for MRI ad CT scans in-house. Our board-certified physicians treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism and other developmental/behavioral disorders and coordinate early intervention services.
