When your patients need a higher level of care, our Ochsner Patient Flow Center helps guide you through the hospital transfer process. Our dedicated, expert team of registered nurses stands ready 24/7 to quickly and efficiently assist you in transferring both adult and pediatric patients to any Ochsner facility. With our focus on continuity of care and a superior experience for you and your patients, we coordinate all aspects of the transfer process including triage, patient registration, bed assignment and transportation via ambulance or helicopter.
As part of our commitment to a strong partnership with you, we also ensure that the referring team will receive important updates consistently throughout the transfer process via phone call.
