What changes are coming to Louisiana Medicaid?
There will be new work requirements for Louisiana Medicaid in 2027. Starting January 1, 2027, some adult Louisiana Medicaid members will need to report work activities to keep their coverage. Most Louisiana Medicaid members will not have to report. If you are under age 19, over age 64, living with a disability or a serious medical condition, a full-time student, or caring for a child or someone with a disability, you likely will not have to report.
