Ochsner Bone Services offers patients with metabolic bone disease the ability to reduce risk of bone fractures, while providing preventive care and therapy for those who have had fractures.
Starting with an initial bone density measurement, Ochsner’s physicians evaluate the possible causes of osteoporosis, renal osteodystrophy or bone loss following heart, kidney liver or lung transplant and treat it appropriately. All services are offered in an outpatient setting.
