Programs We Support
Ochsner receives hundreds of requests for sponsorship each year. As a non-profit ourselves, we have to be selective. We focus on those opportunities that best align with our mission to serve, heal, lead, educate and innovate. In addition, we strive to connect with organizations that share a similar value of putting our community first.
In 2020, Ochsner announced a bold new 10-year vision to create a Healthy State. This initiative is our commitment to enhance healthcare access, improve health equity and health outcomes across Louisiana and the Gulf South region. With this in mind, we are most passionate about supporting programs, events and activities with a health and wellness focus.
Beyond healthcare, we extend economic support to organizations that work to improve higher education, bolster programs for the elderly, engage the arts and culture of our communities, and help to strengthen underserved neighborhoods.

Home of the training facility for
the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans
Committed to improve health and wellness
across the state of Louisiana and Gulf South Region
In the summer of 2017, the Saints and Pelicans, along with teams’ official healthcare partner, Ochsner, announced that they had agreed to a long-term partnership for the naming rights for the teams’ training facilities. Now officially known as The Ochsner Sports Performance Center, it is the only facility in all of North American sports that houses both an NFL training facility and an NBA training facility.
The naming signals a commitment from Ochsner, The New Orleans Saints and The New Orleans Pelicans to use the Ochsner Sports Performance Center to improve health and wellness across the state of Louisiana and Gulf South Region.
