About Ochsner Health Network

What We Do

A leader in innovative healthcare delivery, Ochsner Health Network (OHN) comprises leading health systems, partner physician groups and affiliated community providers across the greater Gulf South region. OHN is the largest and most advanced clinically integrated network (CIN) in the region and brings select health providers together to improve quality and reduce costs.

The 3,500 primary care and specialty care physicians participating in OHN are focused on sharing knowledge, resources, processes and technology to:

  • Improve healthcare quality and patient outcomes
  • Center the care delivery model around the patient
  • Develop better coverage solutions for employers and patients
  • Improve efficiency, thereby reducing the total cost of care

Whom We Serve

Through our collaborative efforts, OHN is making a difference for the nearly 1 million patients our providers care for throughout our Gulf South communities each year. Together, through the power and scale of our contracting engine, we can structure insurance contracts, align payment mechanisms and deliver highly reliable, value-driven care for all our stakeholders. OHN’s “machinery” ensures that our patients and partners alike can thrive in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.

Patients — When patients choose a physician within OHN, they are choosing care held to the highest of clinical performance standards. Their healthcare dollars go further, their health information is streamlined among their providers, and they gain access to a wealth of preventive, diagnostic, treatment-related and wellness-promoting resources.

Communities — With a keen focus on local communities, OHN is a physician-led network that improves population healthcare through collaboration, evidence-based clinical protocols and delivery of powerful analytics and big data insights.

Providers — For those providers seeking transitional pathways to embrace value-driven care — as fee-for-service contracts deteriorate — along with access to more patients, OHN delivers the supporting tools, analytical expertise and business mechanics for positioning like-minded providers for long-term clinical, operational and financial success.

Employers — OHN connects employers with lower-cost, higher-quality integrated care, along with digitally-powered wellness programs and access to a wide array of primary, urgent and occupational care services that they can offer their employees.
