"I will forever be grateful for my team at Ochsner for their support and concern throughout my journey." - Mae Belle M., breast cancer patient

The center is named after Mrs. Lieselotte Tansey, a breast cancer survivor who chose Ochsner for her care and whose generosity made the center possible. Living in Germany, Mrs. Tansey traveled to Ochsner because she recognized the value of receiving swift, expert breast cancer diagnosis and care in a comfortable, patient-centered setting. Because of her support, we can fulfill the mission of the Tansey Breast Center.
