The therapy is designed to help you recover quickly from dehydration caused by travel, intense physical activity, illness or long days on your feet. Because the fluids bypass the digestive system entirely, your body absorbs them faster than oral hydration methods allow.

IV hydration Therapy is available at four Ochsner Urgent Care locations: Central and Arlington Marketplace in Baton Rouge and Uptown and Warehouse District in New Orleans. Each of these clinics offers the service on a walk-in basis with no appointment needed. IV hydration therapy is also available at Ochsner Urgent Care on weekends.

Do I need an appointment for IV hydration therapy at Ochsner Urgent Care?
No appointment is needed. Ochsner Urgent Care offers IV hydration therapy on a walk-in basis at all four participating locations. You can walk in during regular clinic hours and be seen by our medical team without scheduling in advance, even during weekends.
Keep in mind that clinics operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and patients with the most urgent medical needs are prioritized.
Who is eligible to receive IV hydration therapy at Ochsner?
IV hydration therapy at Ochsner Urgent Care is available to adults between the ages of 18 and 60. Patients outside this age range are not eligible for this specific service at this time.
