Yvette has a pretty simple philosophy: feed yourself well on the inside so you can live well on the outside.
As the Eat Fit Acadiana Operations & Marketing Dietitian, Yvette incorporates this philosophy in every aspect of her work with local restaurants and the community.
A registered dietitian with over fifteen years of experience in the field of health and nutrition, Yvette takes a creative and personal approach to educating, inspiring and empowering us to live our best lives through how we fuel our mind and our bodies.
Yvette is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Louisiana Dietetic Association, Sports Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionist, and Nutrition Entrepreneurs. She has served as the media spokesperson for the Louisiana Dietetic Association, as well as the newsletter editor for Nutrition Entrepreneurs and a SCAN mentor for sports dietitians.
A graduate from Louisiana State University with a BS in Kinesiology, she earned a second degree in dietetics and nutrition from Nicholls State University and completed her dietetic internship at Winthrop University in South Carolina.
