With MyOchsner virtual visits, you can conduct traditional office visit with your doctor or provider electronically without leaving home or work. You can join a MyOchsner virtual visit from your smartphone, mobile tablet, laptop and/or desktop computer with microphone and webcam capabilities.

A Same-Day Video Visit connects you with a licensed primary care physician, not your regular doctor or provider, within minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in all 50 states, for non-emergency concerns.

- Virtual Visit: Scheduled in advance with your established Ochsner physician through MyOchsner. Best for follow-ups, chronic condition management and appointments that fit your regular care routine.
- Same-Day Video Visit: Available on demand, any time of day or night, with a licensed primary care physician. Best for acute, non-emergency concerns, such as a sore throat, sinus symptoms or minor infections, when your own doctor is unavailable. Available to patients across all 50 states.

Can I receive a prescription from my Same-Day Video Visit?
Yes. If a prescription is needed, your healthcare provider can prescribe it, and you can have your prescription delivered to your house or office if the final delivery location is within a 20-mile radius of one of Ochsner’s ten pharmacies.
Same-day delivery is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday (New Orleans only), 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
