Dr. David Bronaugh was born and raised in Texas. He did his undergraduate training at The University of Texas and then Graduate School at Texas Christian University. He attended medical school at American University of the Caribbean. He and his wife moved to New Orleans from Fort Worth in 2000 to work at Charity Hospital. He performed his internship at LSU in General Surgery and moved to Tulane for Anesthesiology Residency. Upon completion of Residency, he settled on the Northshore where he worked as the Director of Anesthesia at the Louisiana Heart Hospital until it's closure in 2017. Now as Ochsner, Dr. Bronaugh remains on the Northshore where he is active in the community training the next generation of leaders through the Boy Scouts of America. He is also active in the local competitive swimming community and anything regarding the outdoors such as boating, weightlifting, camping, hiking, skiing and hunting and 4-wheeling..
