Dr. Lyndsey Adams practices family medicine at Ochsner Health. She received her medical degree from the University of Pikeville - Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (UP-KYCOM) in Pikeville, Kentucky, in 2017. She went on to complete her internship and residency at the Southern Illinois University (SIU) Family Medicine program in Carbondale, Illinois. She served as chief resident of her program for two years.

Dr. Adams is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) and has been on staff at Ochsner since September 2020. Dr. Adams treats a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions and performs osteopathic manipulation to address musculoskeletal ailments. She has a special clinical interest in the connection between emotional well-being and physical health. Dr. Adams is a West Bank native with Cajun roots and is excited about the privilege of serving the community in which she grew up. She enjoys a good book, watching the Saints, cooking and baking, collecting vinyl records, traveling and immersing herself in all things New Orleans.
