Thanh Nguyen, MD

Dr. Thanh M. Nguyen earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine-New Orleans in 1996. After graduation, he completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Louisiana State Health Sciences Center in New Orleans where he also served as Chief Resident. After residency, he completed a Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship at Louisiana State Health Sciences Center in New Orleans where he served as Chief Fellow. In 2004, he completed training in Interventional Cardiology at LSHSC in New Orleans. Dr. Nguyen has been in practice in the New Orleans metro area since 2004. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions. His interests include cardiovascular prevention, coronary and peripheral interventions. He is fluent in Vietnamese.
