Biography

Dr. Viswajit Anugu is a cardiologist at Ochsner Health. Dr. Anugu earned his medical degree at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India, where he also completed his internship. He completed his residency in internal medicine, followed by fellowships in general cardiology and interventional cardiology, at Northwell Health Staten Island University Hospital. Dr. Anugu is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and National Board of Echocardiography. He is also a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Anugu has a special clinical interest in interventional cardiology.
