2010 NURSE TECH INTERNSHIP - APPLICATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED

Enhance your nursing skills and knowledge while earning a paycheck! The Ochsner Nurse Tech Internship consists of: Orientation, Clinical Case Review and Preceptored Clinical Rotations. Each Nurse Technician will complete two rotations on different nursing units within a seven-week period during the summer. The salary is based on Ochsner's Nurse Tech PRN rate.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
• Senior level Registered Nurse students who will graduate from a National League of Nursing or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education accredited program between August 2010
and August 2011.
• Complete the selection process and attend scheduled orientation.
• Must be able to work full-time from June 7th to July 23rd for the New Orleans region, or from June 14th to July 30th in Baton Rouge.
Positions are available in New Orleans (Jefferson Highway and Baptist), West Bank, Kenner, and Baton Rouge.
The following are not required for the online application, but will be required if you are selected for an in-person interview.
- Official transcript from school of current standing in an academic program, including grade point average.
- Letter of reference from a nursing instructor or previous employer.
