General Mechanic
HVAC-R Mechanic
Responds to assigned departmental maintenance needs and is responsible for the execution of repairs or replacement of affected equipment in assigned area.
Activities:
- Performs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting requests
- Conducts inspections
- Services equipment
- Uses power tools to fulfill repairs
- Follows up on completed assignments
What You'll Need
Education: High school diploma plus 5 years of maintenance experience, driver’s license in state of residence
Knowledge: English language, mechanically inclined
Skills: Excellent verbal & written communication skills, Interpersonal & listening skills, conflict resolution skills, problem-solving skills, computer skills
Abilities: Work independently and collaboratively as a team member, follow strict policy guidelines, collaborate with other departments, operate hand & power tools
