Ochsner Tuition Assistance Program

Ochsner's Tuition Assistance Program provides employees financial support to obtain a degree or improve a targeted skill set through courses from an accredited institution.

Eligibility and Financial Assistance:

• Full-time employees: $3,000 max per year for undergraduate/graduate degree
• Part-time employees (24+ hours per week): $2,000 max per year for undergraduate/graduate degree

Requirements:

• Must be employed for 6 months
• Must be in good standing (not on disciplinary probation)
• Must keep a "B" average in courses taken
• Must have received a minimum rating of “Valued Contributor” on the most recent annual performance evaluation

Reimbursement:

• Speak with your direct leader to receive verbal approval
• Complete the Tuition Assistance Application once your class or semester is complete and you have received your grades and an itemized bill​
• A confirmation email will be sent after your leader approves the application when your reimbursement has been applied to your paycheck.

Deadlines to Submit Tuition Assistance Application:

• Spring: June 30
• Summer: Sept. 30
• Fall: Jan. 31
