Surgical Technician
Certified Surgical Tech
Assures availability of equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
Activities:
- Performs direct patient care duties
- Organizes activities and supplies for surgery
- Communicates relevant care information to patients, family members and co-workers
- Maintains required clinical knowledge, technical skills, training and credentials
- Adapts to rapid changes in the department caused by unit census, patient acuity and resource availability
What You'll Need
Education: High school diploma and successful completion of surgical technology program; Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association
Knowledge: English language, Microsoft Office
Skills: Excellent verbal & written communication skills, multi-tasking skills
Abilities: Work independently and collaboratively as a team member, collaborates with care team, maintains patient confidentiality, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
