Amy completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. She then went on to complete a Dual Masters of Science in Nursing in Acute Care and Family Nurse Practitioner with a Cardiovascular Subspecialty though the University of South Alabama. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining the Pulmonary/Critical Care team, Amy worked as a Registered Nurse in Intensive Care for five years in Ocean Springs, MS and New Orleans, LA.
