Biography
W. Bradley Kimbrough, III, MD, specializes in general surgery at Ochsner Health in Lafayette, Louisiana. Dr. Kimbrough specializes in general surgery, with expertise in laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He offers comprehensive care for a variety of chronic and acute medical conditions, including appendicitis, gallbladder disease, inguinal hernia, abdominal wall hernia, breast disease, skin and soft tissue diseases, GI disorders, and diseases of the colon. He also performs upper and lower endoscopy and is experienced in complex wound care. Dr. Kimbrough is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. He earned undergraduate degrees from Louisiana State University and University of Southwestern Louisiana before completing his medical degree at LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2006. He completed his surgical residency at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans. Dr. Kimbrough was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, and attended high school in Baton Rouge. Outside of surgery, he enjoys cooking for his family, hunting, fishing, exercising and traveling.
