Brandi K. Jones, MD, is a senior internal medicine and pediatrics physician at Ochsner Health Center-Driftwood practicing there since 2003. Dr. Jones earned her medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine where she completed her internship and residency. She is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics. She cares for all ages from newborns to older adults.I am a doctor of families and truly feel like many of my patients are family. My Driftwood patients are special, and the way I practice medicine has allowed me to forge meaningful relationships in my almost 20 years of practice there. She was recognized by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana for being a 2019 top-tier provider in caring for patients with hypertension, chronic kidney disease, diabetes and ischemic vascular disease. Her standard and quality of care has positioned her to lead in the support and training of other physicians.I am honored to be acknowledged as Ochsners Physician of the Year. It is truly a privilege to do what I do. I have had the best patients over the course of my career. I am supported by an awesome team/family at our Driftwood clinic and couldnt do what I do without them. I remain passionate about being a combined pediatric physician and internal medicine physician. I am very committed to the excellence of healthcare and patient advocacy.Fortuitously, 30 years ago, I received the Alton Ochsner Future Physician Award at my high school graduation. Since then, I have been unbelievably lucky to have been able to interact with so many different patients, colleagues, team members and friends that have helped me become the person I am today.
