Carlos Cevallos, MD, specializes in neurology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Carlos Cevallos earned his medical degree from Universidad Catolica Santiago De Guayaquil where he graduated as the valedictorian of his class. He went on to complete his neurology internship and residency at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, where he served as chief resident and was awarded with the excellence in patient care by his residency program. As a neurologist, he has expertise in neurological disorders including migraines, seizures, neuropathy, Parkinson's disease, and dementia. In addition to practicing as a general neurologist, he is currently doing a fellowship in movement disorders as he aspires to strengthen his practice as a Parkinson's expert. Dr. Cevallos focuses on a holistic approach to medicine and believes in the importance of a multidisciplinary strategy when dealing with neurological conditions and diseases. Outside of medicine, he enjoys the outdoors, specifically going to the beach and sailing.
