Jentry Pearson, DPT, practices sports and orthopedic physical therapy at Ochsner Health. Jentry has expertise in advanced sports rehabilitation techniques, including but not limited to blood flow restriction therapy, functional dry needling, spinal manipulation and return to sport testing. He provides comprehensive care for athletes and active individuals experiencing a wide range of orthopedic and sports related injuries.

Jentry earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 2015. He is board certified in Sports Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists, a distinction he earned in 2017. He completed a Sports Certified Specialist Residency at Houston Methodist Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he gained experience treating professional, collegiate, and elite athletes across multiple sports.

Throughout his career, Jentry has collaborated with organizations such as the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, Houston Dynamo and Dash, Rice University Athletics, and numerous high school athletic programs. He has also contributed to research published in the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy and the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research.

At Ochsner, Jentry is committed to providing individualized, evidence based care that supports each patient’s goals, whether recovering from injury, returning to competition or optimizing performance. He has been part of the Ochsner team since 2023 and currently serves as Clinical Operations Supervisor for the Ochsner Therapy and Wellness Covington location.

Outside of physical therapy, Jentry enjoys spending time with his wife, two boys and two dogs, traveling, spending time outdoors and coaching youth sports.
