Biography

Laketra Whitney, WHNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner in obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Southern University and A&M College. Laketra has 10 years of experience as a labor and delivery nurse. She received her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Women's Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama. She is board certified by the National Certification Corporation and is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health.
