Matthew Lagarde, MD, practices psychiatry at Ochsner Health. Dr. Lagarde provides comprehensive care for mental health conditions including major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychotic illnesses.

Additionally, Dr. Lagarde is the psychiatrist and medical director for the St. Charles Parish Hospital Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This program provides nine to twelve hours per week of structured therapy and medication treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.
