Biography
Morgan Hoffman, NP, specializes in rheumatology at Ochsner Health. She provides comprehensive care for patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, gout and osteoporosis. Her clinical approach emphasizes thorough evaluation, diagnostic testing, and individualized treatment strategies to help patients manage chronic rheumatologic conditions.
Morgan earned her Master of Science in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she trained as an adult‑gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Columbus State University.
Board certified as an adult‑gerontology nurse practitioner, Morgan has experience in both rheumatology and hospital‑based acute care. She has participated in quality improvement projects related to post‑operative care, infection control and disease management. Morgan regularly attends national rheumatology conferences to remain current on advances in patient care. She also serves as a clinical preceptor, mentoring nurse practitioner students in diagnostic reasoning, treatment planning and patient education.
Outside of medicine, Morgan enjoys making pottery as well as hiking and kayaking with her husband and their dog.
