Dr. Norman Vince Hill is a double board-certified pediatrician and adult internal medicine physician. As a child with a chronic illness, he developed an appreciation for pediatrics which drove him to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Hill started his career at a low-income health care clinic in Washington, DC. He then attended medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and completed a dual internal medicine and pediatrics residency at Georgetown University. During residency he gained exposure to adult and pediatric primary care and specialized training in pediatric transplant and neonatal intensive care.

After residency, Dr. Hill and his wife relocated to New Orleans where he is pursuing a career in primary care at Ochsner. His professional interests include management of children with complex medical issues and chronic medical problems as well as adolescent care. He also has a special interest in smoking cessation in adults. He is always looking at new ways to assist patients in and outside of the office and is excited to offer digital medicine and telemedicine in addition to office visits. Dr. Hill is a firm believer that a combination of up-to-date evidence-based medicine and quality patient time and care of the whole person is the best way to keep children and adults healthy.

Outside of the office Dr. Hill enjoys hiking, gardening, playing guitar, meditation, and perfecting his Spanish as a second language.
